The Showcase Percussion Association (SPA) was founded in June 2010 and our principal aim is to promote music and explore creativity to youngsters through the eclectic arts of percussion. We inspire and aim to increase the take up of instrumental tuition throughout the UK.
Designed to inspire, SPA operate a series of exciting and educational projects that are modelled to encourage more performance opportunities for youngsters in the UK with no cost to take part. Using our innovative and unique programme of showcase concerts, our diverse Artistes, and the support of our Showcase Orchestra, we have defined a new style of performance. In April 2011, the Showcase Performance Group (SPG) company was launched. SPG is the main Showcase HQ and also operates a series of master-classes and workshops available to schools and music services, plus a sensational selection of fun birthday parties for youngsters and much more. SPG plan to expand and promote several major projects from September 2012. SPA launched its first percussion ensemble, CYMBOLIC in January 2011. CYMBOLIC enables students from beginner level to practise their skills and develop a wider knowledge of the world of percussion right from the very start. |  CYMBOLIC PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
